Tartufo (tahr-too-foh) is an Italian gelato dessert usually composed of two or more flavours of gelato.  Tartufos are coated in cocoa and then drizzled with milk or white chocolate.

Sorbet is a frozen dessert made from sweetened water flavoured with fruit juice or puree, wine and/or liqueur. Sorbet can also be served in hollowed fruit cups and is sometimes served between courses as a way to cleanse the palate before the main course.

Gelato is a rich ice cream, containing a relatively low percentage of butterfat. Gelato (Italian pronunciation plural: gelati) is the Italian word for ice cream. Italians use the word gelato to mean a sweet treat that is served frozen. Indeed, gelato, just like ice cream, is made with milk, cream, various sugars, flavoring including fresh fruit and nut purees.
